Who Is Julian Habib?

Julian Habib is a Hollywood filmmaker, author, and legacy architect whose work spans storytelling, transformation, and the design of generational power. He is the creator of Empire Within, a movement, media brand, and leadership academy for those ready to stop playing small and embody a life of impact, discipline, and destiny.
Julian’s entrepreneurial fire ignited early. He launched his first business at age 8, selling stationery and office supplies door to door. By 11, he was teaching himself HTML and building websites from scratch. At 13, he began attending college courses at the University of Houston, while already making websites for clients - he was undeniably a brilliant mind. By 22, he had founded his university’s first car club and created a motorsports lifestyle brand that placed in regional competitions and fostered a thriving community.
At 23, Julian became a network executive when he co-founded MCB Network 55.4 KTBU, one of the first English-language Latino networks in the U.S. Backed by Texas billionaire Lee Cook, Julian helped lead 24/7 programming, content development, and national operations , producing over 100 episodes of original television. That same year, he launched Empire of Love Radio, an international underground house music station featuring more than 50 DJs from across the globe , creating a pre-streaming era cultural hub that blended rhythm, freedom, and personal reinvention through sound.
He later joined a leading Hispanic advertising agency, where he rapidly rose to Production Manager, overseeing nearly 1,000 commercials and radio spots for major-market brands. His work spanned writing, directing, producing, and editing , sharpening his mastery across the full creative spectrum.
Julian then brought that edge to Hollywood, founding Digital Horizon Studios and working on 17 feature films , many of which ranked #1 and #2 globally on Netflix and HBO Max. His work includes A California Christmas: City Lights (#1 Globally on Netflix), That’s Amor (#2 U.S., #3 Globally), A Hollywood Christmas (#1 HBO Max), and A Christmas Mystery (#4 HBO Max). With every frame and every narrative, Julian used entertainment not as an escape , but as a mirror and a map. A Brazilian jiu-jitsu purple belt under the legendary Jean Jacques Machado, Julian has competed in over 14 tournaments and carries the discipline of the modern warrior-scholar. While most kids were riding bikes and trading baseball cards, Julian was knocking on doors, selling office supplies from a homemade catalog. At 11, he reverse-engineered the internet, teaching himself HTML and building websites from scratch. By 13, he was enrolled in college courses at the University of Houston, years before he could drive. That same year, he turned his web skills into income, designing sites for local businesses. At just 22, while juggling college coursework and code, Julian founded his university’s first

At just 23, Julian became one of the youngest television executives in the country, co-founding MCB Network 55.4 KTBU, a trailblazing English- speaking Latino network in Houston. With backing from billionaire Lee Cook, he led 24-hour programming, content acquisition, contract negotiation, and daily operations. He produced over 100 original episodes, shaping stories and elevating underrepresented voices. That same year, Julian launched Empire of Love Radio — a 24/7 internet station uniting 50+ DJs worldwide. It wasn’t just radio — it was the rise of culture before streaming ruled the world.
2010s - The Commercial Titan

After blazing trails in broadcast, Julian brought his storytelling prowess to
Concepts in Advertising, one of Houston’s leading Hispanic agencies. In under a year, he rose to the rank of Production Manager, overseeing a creative war room responsible for nearly 1,000 commercials and radio spots. Working in one of the country’s top 10 media markets, Julian didn’t just manage campaigns he architected them. From copywriting and concept development to directing and post-production, he touched every element of the storytelling process. It was here he sharpened his ability to influence hearts and minds at scale turning products into movements and airtime into impact.

In the 2020s, Julian stepped behind the scenes of Hollywood — not chasing fame, but mastering filmcraft. He worked post-production on 17 feature films
